A Store owner wants to see the expected arrival date of incoming inventory transfers in a report. Shopify records this date on each transfer shipment, but it is only visible inside the admin and isn’t available in Analytics reports. Report Pundit adds it as a column to the Inventory Transfers report, one row per shipment, next to origin, destination, ship status, and quantities, and sorts by earliest arrival.
Official answer
Yes, Shopify lets you set an optional expected arrival date on each transfer shipment, but its Analytics inventory reports do not include it. Report Pundit can add that date as a column beside origin, destination, ship status, and quantities, with one row per shipment.
In Shopify, the date is entered as Expected arrival when a transfer is moved to in transit, and it can also be added to any extra shipment on that transfer. It is optional, so a shipment where nobody filled it in shows a blank. Each shipment has its own ID, such as T289-1, and its own arrival date, which is why the report runs at the shipment level.
Shopify shows the date inside the admin, but its inventory reports (month-end snapshot, month-end value, average inventory sold per day) work from stock counts. The inventory adjustment report can isolate quantity changes caused by transfers, but it reports the change in units, not when a shipment is due.
The premade Inventory Transfers report in Report Pundit covers ID, Ship Name, Origin Name, Destination Name, Transfer Created, Ship status, Total Quantity, and Shipped Quantity. The arrival date is added to that layout as a custom field, and other transfer details can go into the same report. Sorting by the arrival column puts the shipments due soonest at the top.
