Without vs with the Klarna integration

Without it: Klarna is available as a local payment method with Shopify Payments in supported regions. When customers choose Klarna at checkout, they’re redirected to Klarna to complete or select their payment option, and the funds are then included in your next Shopify Payments payout. If you later refund that Klarna transaction, Shopify doesn’t return the Shopify Payments processing fee. Because payouts reflect net amounts rather than gross order values, reconciling Klarna orders one by one can be time-consuming

Why don't Klarna transactions match my Shopify order totals?

Because Klarna deposits arrive net of fees and refunds, so the amount paid out rarely equals the order value, and a refunded Klarna transaction does not return the Shopify Payments processing fee. A report that links each Klarna transaction to its Shopify order and shows net amounts makes those differences easy to reconcile.

Does Shopify support Klarna?

Yes. Shopify supports Klarna as a local payment method through Shopify Payments in supported regions, and Klarna can also be added as a standalone payment method.
